|(10/05/2003) Miss Ostrem, who is known as Gloria Sawai to the Governor General of Canada, returned to Farmington for a day, October 5th, 2003. Her first book "A Song for Nettie Johnson" won five, repeat five awards: (1) the 2002 Governor Generals (of Canada) Award for Fiction, (2) the Danuta Gleed Award, (3) The City of Edmonton Book Award and (4)(5) two Writers Guild of Alberta Awards.
